A loan helped to purchase more general stock and stationary for resale.

Isha's story

Meet Isha. She is 35 years old. She is from Lunsar, Northern area in Sierra Leone. She is married with three children. In 2000, Isha established her retail business. She began her business because she wants to improve her standard of living. She works at the business 11 hours per day, six days per week. She says that her business is doing well.

Isha requires a loan in order to purchase more general stock and stationary for resale. She hopes that the extra income from this loan will allow her to pay her children's school fees and increase her business. Seemingly distinct businesses are often mixed in Sierra Leone, the idea being that a customer will come to purchase one thing but will leave having purchased another. In the future, Isha plans to expand her business even more. She thanks you for your support.
