A loan helped a member to buy seeds and farm inputs for farming.

Bole Khole Group's story

Bole Khole is a women's group comprised of 10 people who live in the same neighborhood. Together, they have a savings group that they organize at the end of each month. This is their first loan, and the group's president is Madame Adama who has her hand raised in the photo.

She is married and a mother. She is 33 years old, and helps her husband with the daily expenses as well as her children's schooling fees. She has more than five years' experience in farming and market gardening. She is asking for a loan for this amount to buy seeds and farm inputs to grow okra, onion, etc.

In the future, she would like to have more land to farm, so that she can increase her revenue and diversify her crops. She would like to live in comfort and improve her family's life conditions.

In this group: Adama, Bassine, Diabou, Mada, Aïda, Coumba, Fama, Mada, Awa, Khardiata
