A loan helped to buy woodworking tools.

Manuel Antonio's story

Manuel is 34 years old. He has a ninth grade education and has two children, who are ages eleven and nine and go to the local school. His wife works selling clothing and doing different housework. Manuel works with his uncle in a carpenter's shop. He knows how to build tables, beds, closets, chairs, and other woodwork items. He also works locally as a helper in construction and farming.

He was motivated to to work at the carpenter's shop by his uncle, because he considers he earns a good living depending on the demand of the moment. He works every day of the week with his uncle, and also does sidejobs at home for people close to the family.

Manuel is requesting this loan to buy tools for his woodworking. This way Manuel will have his own equipment for work and will be able to undertake the business little by little.

Manuel would love to have his own workshop because he is well known in the area for his good woodwork and he wants to continue supporting his little ones through school so that they get a good education and achieve a better quality of life.
