A loan helped to purchase inputs for his coffee crops.

Julio César's story

Julio César is a coffee producer in the department of Jinotega, Nicaragua. He owns a farm of 29.6 acres, of which he plants 11.3 with coffee. He has over 15 years of experience working on his small farm, which has been improving. The goal of this small producer is to increase the yield of his current coffee-producing area. He intends to implement a comprehensive management plan for his farm. For this cycle of coffee, Julio César is requesting funding to ensure he has the inputs and fertilizers that his plants require with the help of the Association for People in Community Action to which he belongs. He trusts that with his hard work and these resources, he will be able to harvest 150 to 180 kilograms of coffee, allowing him to improve the conditions of his family.
