A loan helped to buy two cows.

María De Los Angeles's story

Maria, 51, studied until third grade. She is now married and her husband is a farmer. They have 11 children. Five of them study at university; the rest of them work, some abroad.

She has been selling tortillas for two years. She has also worked in the slaughterhouse for five years and she sells pork rinds in the area where she lives. Therefore her daily routine is quite varied, but in general she works from 9 in the morning until 5 in the afternoon.

Maria needs this loan to buy cattle, specifically two cows. She plans to have them reproduce and therefore increase the business in the slaughterhouse in the future.

She dreams of seeing her children finish their studies and becoming independent. She also hopes to see her business continue to grow which will allow her to buy more cattle.
