Artak's story

Artak lives in Gavar city in the Gegharkunik region. He is married, and he has two daughters and a son. His daughters are married and they live separately with their families. His son is still school-aged. Artak’s wife does not work. Since their son is still small, Artak is the only bread winner in his family.

He used to work at the bread factory as a driver, then for several years he went to the Russian Federation and did construction work. Now he is engaged in farming and agricultural activities. On his plot of land he cultivates potatoes, which he sells through the re-sellers, and he also gathers hay, which he uses as animal fodder for his farm cattle. He has calves and cows, and also a lot of chickens on his farm.

Artak asks a loan of 900,000 Armenian drams to buy a lot of animal fodder for his farm cattle, which will be enough during the whole winter.
