A loan helped a member to buy fertilizers for her farmland.

Neang's Group's story

Agd 37, Neang is a married mother of three children living in a rural village of the Ponhea Krek district, Cambodia.

To support her family, Neang has been farming rice and planting cassava for 19 years in the village. The current business earns her about 48,000 KHR per day.

Neang’s group consists of two members and she is a first-cycle client with VisionFund. Now she is leading her group to ask for a loan. As the leader, she is going to use some of her portion to buy fertilizers for her farmland and a portion of it to renovate her old house. She hopes to increase her crop yields and sell them for a good price to make a better living.
