A loan helped to purchase sacks of green vegetables, tomatoes and onions for resale.

Fatuma's story

Fatuma is married, and has children. She owns a house that has neither electricity nor piped water. Her greatest monthly expenses are school fees and food for the family.

For the past two years, she has operated a green grocery selling business. She sells to her neighbours and passersby. Her major challenge is seasonal availability of products, which reduces sales.

With the 50,000 KES loan she wants to purchase sacks of green vegetables, tomatoes and onions for resale. She decided to join Yehu to access loans to boost her business and improve her living standards.
