Alexei is a very pleasant, uncomplicated, and hardworking fellow. He and his family live in Kamenka-Dneprovskaya, Ukraine. He raises vegetables, and earns a supplemental income by offering taxi services.
This was a difficult year for Alexei. His wife fell very ill and was in the hospital for three months. Because of this, Alexei alone had to plant and raise the vegetables, as well as look after their young child. No matter how hard he tried, Alexei couldn't do everything as quickly as it needed to be done, and so their profit was a lot smaller than he had expected. But he's not unhappy about it because, most importantly, his wife recovered and now all will be well.
Alexei is in need of additional funds in order to install a heating system in his greenhouses, to buy seed and plastic greenhouse film for the coming season. Alexei is sure that the loan will help him to earn a large profit next year and his family will need for nothing.
