Kuka's story

Kuka is a mixed farmer in Emali town, where she plants cash crops as well as keeps livestock. She is 54 years old, married to Henry, and they have been blessed with 10 children. She has been in the farming business for 13 years, and right now her monthly income is 20,000 Kenyan shillings (KES).


She plans to use this loan to buy farm inputs for use on her farm. These include fertilizer and seedlings for planting. She will use the anticipated profits to expand her farming business.
