Elsa is 34 and lives alone now that her husband is working in another part of the country. She has three children who are all dependent on her. Her home is located in the town of Cerrillos. Her principal activities are producing and then selling corn, which she does once a year. She works hard at her job in agriculture to cover the household expenses.
