A loan helped to open a grocery store.

Akram's story

Akram is a 45-year-old father of 6 children living in the Gaza strip.

He applied for a loan from ACAD to open his own grocery store, so that he can increase the income of his big family and improve their lives.

Akram started this project in the same neighborhood he lives in to provide basic needs.

His future goals are to expand his shop and open a supermarket so he can provide a decent livelihood for his children.

Akram's challenges are the lack of tools and means to expand the project.
