Rosa is a young 22 year old farmer and housewife. She is the mother of one child who is not yet old enough to go to school. She has six years of primary school thanks to her parents' moral and financial support. It was her parents who taught her to work on the land at a young age given that growing coffee is a family tradition. With her partner she has been carrying out this activity for four years, each of them supporting the other in order to strengthen their home, economic situation and the well-being and future of their child.
The land was inherited to her by her parents which is located 500 meters from their home, which is very close from them to travel on foot each day to provide up-keep and maintenance. One of her and her spouse's greatest priorities is to keep their crops free of pests like the leaf rust and borers that destroy her entire harvest, resulting in a loss of time and money invested.
Her dreams are to be able to put up a dignified roof someday, and to continue strengthening her land through the purchase and planting of coffee. She hopes that as her son gets older, he studies, has a brighter future, and greater preparation than that which her and her spouse have had. For this reason she is requesting this financing to be able to buy the agricultural supplies to continue to attend to her crops and give the best maintenance possible in order to have an excellent harvest.
