Yolanda is a hard working woman, which is why every day she puts a lot of effort into her humble job as a janitor at a hospital. It gives her money to pay for her home and care for her 2 children, ages 13 and 11. Yolanda thinks that her work is going well because she is responsible and, above all, humble.
Thanks to the Kiva lenders, Yolanda will be able to buy materials to make improvements to the house where she lives, especially to the small bedroom where her children sleep, which is currently in bad condition. This way she can improve her family's quality of life and continue fighting to make her biggest dream a reality: "to own her home".
