Eduvigis, 42, is married to Fredy and they have an 8-year-old daughter; she lives with them in her own house. This talented woman’s main activity is agriculture. She grows a variety of citrus fruit. In all these years of caring for her crops she’s earned much profit because she doesn’t just sell her crops in locally but also takes them to various parts of Peru by means of her middlemen.
However, well-aware of the tourist attraction that the “Tirol” waterfall is she opened a crafts store recently selling traditional local crafts. She also sells a variety of beverages which are in high demand because of the hot temperatures in that place. According to her, during school field trip season students from various Peruvian schools buy just about everything she has. This is why in view of the movement in the place she wants to buy a spacious piece of land to build a tourist campground.
This is her third Kiva loan and she feels fulfilled and happy because she hopes to get the loan to continue with her goals. She promises therefore to be punctual with her payments. Eduvigis will use the 1,000 soles to buy organic manure to nourish her crops.
