A loan helped to purchase cleaning tools that are able to reach greater surfaces on the windows.

Dennis's story

Dennis knows finance. After graduating from Rochester Institute of Technology with a degree in psychology and business, Dennis became an assistant manager at Household Finances in Newark. Over the next 30 years he worked with various businesses on the financial side. Then in February 2011, Dennis was laid off from his job as director of credit services.

Prior to his career in finance, Dennis had learned a wide variety of skills working part-time for a friend that owned a cleaning business. He mastered floor buffing, bathroom cleaning, floor waxing, garbage removal and his favorite, window cleaning.

Two years ago, after he lost his job, Dennis bought a franchise specializing in window cleaning. He now cleans commercial property and residential homes. Today, the business is known for its dependability and unmatched customer service.

Dennis will use the funds of this loan to purchase cleaning tools that are able to reach greater surfaces on the windows. His long term goal is to grow the business and to employ ten window cleaners.
