Bella Vista 2 Group's story

Haydee, 40, is a single mother. She lives with her son in a community in the Bahía Islands.

Haydee earns her own income to support her household. For two years she has sold cosmetics such as creams, lotions, and make-up. She also has some apartments that she rents. The goal she works for is to have economic stability and improve her living conditions.

In her community they have problems with potable water. To pay for it she decided to form a group to request financing to be able to drill and set up a well for drinking water. The group is made up of 12 members and is called Bella Vista 2. They've requested 5,000 lempiras [HNL] each, for a group total of 60,000 lempiras.
