Christopher's story

Christopher lives in the Nkubu area of the North-rift region. He is married and has six children, of whom one is still in school. Christopher has practiced farming for 33 years. His primary sources of income are milk, maize, beans and sugarcane, which he sells at Bondeni market.

He has requested for a loan of KES 52,000 to purchase a dairy cow. This cow will bring an increase in milk production.T he income generated will help him to pay school fees for his child.

The challenge Christopher faces is diseases affecting both crops and livestock. In five years, he wants to have improved his farming activities.
