This group is comprised of four enterprising women. One of them is Juana, who is married and has a 23-year-old son. For the last 25 years she has had a business making and selling crafts made from wood and from jícaro gourds. She sells her crafts in street markets and sells her goods by order in the eastern market of Managua and in Los Pueblos Blancos. Her sister and her niece help her to paint her crafts.
She is seeking a loan in order to purchase materials such as paints, wood, rubber, lacquer, yarn and jícaro gourds.
