A loan helped to purchase more jeans, blouses, and slippers for resale.

Mamie's story

Meet 44-year-old Mamie, from Moribatown in Sierra Leone. She is married, with four children between the ages of 6 and 19 years. Her children are currently attending school.

In 2008, Mamie established her clothing business. She began her business because she needed to create her own source of income, instead of depending on her husband, alone. She works at the business ten hours per day and seven days per week. She says that the main challenge to her business is price inflation.

Mamie requires a loan in order to purchase more jeans, blouses, and slippers for resale. She hopes that the extra income from this loan will allow her to increase her business and pay her children's school fees.

In the future, Mamie plans to open a shop. She thanks you for your support.
