A loan helped to pay for the construction of a fence around the olive plantation.

Dila's story

Dila lives in a very rural village in the northern part of the country where other people there are mostly focused on livestock because the terrain helps this type of activity. Yet, Dila has chosen another way of making a living, that of agriculture, in addition to livestock. She started planting olive trees some twelve years back and this is where her focus has been throughout these years.

“I sell olives to locals who want to pickle them or make olive oil and I also sell homemade dairy products and raw milk. This way I keep myself busy everyday and all day," she said laughing.

Dila is in her fifties, married and has two children. She is requesting a loan through lenders in order to build a fence around the olive plantation.
