A loan helped to buy agricultural inputs.

Gloria's story

Gloria, 43, is married. She's a housewife, a farmer, and the mother of three children who attend school. She completed the sixth grade of elementary school thanks to the effort, dedication, and support of her own parents, who raised her and taught her the value of life and her responsibility to each one of her jobs and commitments to her customers.

With her family and her husband she carries out a variety of activities in the fields, including cutting, weeding, and fertilizing. The land she and her husband and children work is her own. It's located a few meters away from her house, so they walk there every day.

She has requested a loan from the COMIXMUL cooperative to take care of and provide technical assistance for her coffee crops because it's her source of income for her family and household.

Her plans are to make a change for the good in her crops to get an excellent harvest and later be able to plant more coffee on her plot of land. She also plans to generate more income so she can continue supporting her children in their studies and her husband with the household necessities and other things.
