A loan helped a member to build a kiln to bake clay crafts.

Ñepytyvo Group's story

The communal bank "Ñepytyvo" is in its second loan cycle of the women's program, where all the members work and help each other get ahead. They are taking a poverty elimination survey and four of the members are receiving training in Women's Self-esteem, Nutrition, Health Care and Budgeting, among other categories, to help them improve in areas where they are not doing very well.

One of the members, Myrian, makes clay crafts that she usually exhibits at the fairs organized by the Fundación Paraguaya. She is requesting a loan to buy her own kiln so she can increase production and improve her income. She is grateful for this opportunity because it will help her become independent.

Worth mentioning is the work carried out by the counselors who conduct permanent follow-up of the training and encouragement given to the women in an effort to help them out of poverty.

In this group: Olga, Myrian, Alberta, Sonia, Grabriela, Gregoria, Maria, Benita, Antonia, Juana, Norma, Francisca, Guillermina, Antonia, Narcisa, Myrian, Rossana, Martina, Zulma, Romina, Liz, Isabel, Hilaria, Evelin, Eugenia, Delia
