A loan helped to purchase more handicrafts to sell around the city.

Sahid's story

Sahid comes from East Java, but lives in Bali. He came to Bali in 1990.

The first time he came, he worked as a laborer. After three years, he worked as a scavenger because the price for junk is very high. From this job, he can send money to his wife and children, who still live in Java. This business allowed Sahid to save and also buy a motorcycle.

Now Sahid has a new business. With his motorcycle, he travels to find junk and also sells handicrafts. He will use the loan to purchase more handicrafts to sell around the city. He hopes he can travel in wider areas and earn more profit.

He dreams he can buy a house and bring his family to live in Bali.
