Razia's story

Ms Razia is a married woman who is living with her husband and four children in Punjab, Pakistan.

She has been doing hand embroidery for about three years. She makes beautiful patterns for the people of her community. Her designs are much in demand, and she has managed to build a clientele that allows her to contribute to the expenses of her home.

To help her continue her operations, she has requested a loan of Rs. 35,000 to buy thread in different colors, and packs of beads, sequins, and stones for embellishment. In this way, she would be able to cater consistently to more customers and increase her income.
