Emprendedoras Valientes Group's story

Emprendedoras Valientes Communal Bank is made up of eight members, six women and two men who work in various jobs.

The president of the bank is Verónica, 34. She's single and has two children, ages 17 and 7. She makes a living selling chicken in her sales stall in one of the markets in the town of El Torno.

This is Verónica's first loan sequence with the institution. She's going to use this loan to buy a freezer she needs to store her chicken. Her reason for requesting this loan is she lacks the capital to buy the freezer.

In her business Verónica faces the challenge of expanding her clientele. She's going to use the profits to improve her family's quality of life.
