A loan helped to purchase another buffalo in milk to get increase in production capacity of milk.


Mussarat's story

Ms. Mussarat is 46 years old and is a dedicated mother of four children. She is efficiently doing a business of milk sales and has gained years of experience in this field. She has three buffaloes to milk and sells their milk to the people of her community. She also purchases small calves and sells them near the Eid-ul-Azha (a religious event in Muslim countries like Pakistan) and earns a good profit from this business.

Because of her work, she is respected in her home. She helps her husband in all family matters as well as financial matters. While talking to the Kashf officer, she shared the feeling of achievement she got by sending her three children to school for an education.

She has some savings and has applied for a loan of 30,000 PKR (Pakistan rupees) to purchase another buffalo to milk to get an increase in production capacity of milk. She expects a boost in her business income as she expands her business. She is very thankful to Kashf for its support.
