Khuren's Group's story

A resident of Kampong Cham province in Cambodia, Khuren, a 26-year-old married mother of one son, grows cassava and rice and supplements the family’s income by tapping latex at a rubber plantation. Involved in her enterprise for six years, she is able to earn up to 49,700 KHR per day.



Khuren’s group, which consists of three members, is seeking its first loan, each member requesting 1,000,000 KHR. As the group leader, Khuren will use her portion to buy fertilizer for her cassava growing. She hopes to increase her income in order to gradually expand her business.
