A loan helped to buy shutters for his house.

Johnson's story

Johnson is a farmer in the remote village of Isingiro who is married with 6 children, and all in school. He started farming at the early age of 10 after losing both his parents at a tender age. Because of such circumstances, he struggled much to survive through farming. He managed to put up his own banana plantation which has allwed him to even start constructing a semi-permanent house to accommodate him and his family members.

He is requesting a loan for 2,200,000 shillings to enclose his house and complete it. He will be using proceeds from the plantain plantation to service the requested loan. In the photograph is Johnson with his wife in front of their incomplete residential house.
