A loan helped to renovate and improve his shop to allow him to better display his merchandise.

Hezhar's story

Hezhar is a young Iraqi man, 27 years old, single, and as an unmarried man lives with his family.
He is the owner of a small, well located shop which sells all kinds of mobile phone accessories, including such important items as batteries and chargers - which are often destroyed here due to power fluctuations. He also sells items very popular among Iraqi teens, such as colorful covers and little phone decorations.

The shop is very nicely organized, but with a little a work it could be better set up to allow Hezhar to carry more supplies, and display his current items in a way more visible for his customers. Hezhar would like to improve the shop, and to be able to pay for the work he requested a loan from Relief International Microfinance Iraq in the amount of 2400 USD.

Hezhar is under 30 and as such qualifies for a youth loan.
