Salma's Group's story

Salma is a 22-year-old single mother of two. Salma's husband passed away. As a young widow, she is the sole provider for her family through the selling of agriculture produce such as mangoes and oranges. The challenges Salma faces with her current business are the seasonality of the agricultural produce trade and the perishable nature of her goods. She would like to be a KOMAZA farmer so that she can fund her children's education. In addition to funding her children's education, Salma hopes to start other businesses and build a good home for her family with the money she will generate from her KOMAZA tree farm.
