Musu's story

Musu is 48 years old and lives in Margibi County, which has the highest producing rubber plantation in Liberia. She is single and has four children between the ages of 25 and 32; they all live on their own. For the past five years she has been selling dry goods (rice, vita, candles, toothpaste, flour, sugar, oil, and pepper) in her community. She started this business by selling charcoal by the bag for her mother. She is requesting a loan to purchase rice, vita, candles, toothpaste, flour, sugar, oil, and pepper for her business. She hopes to build a house.
