A loan helped to buy cattle for her new business.

Mavluda's story

Mavluda is a very hard-working and driven woman. She is married and has 2 adult children.

Mavluda had a difficult life as a child. From early childhood, she worked as a seamstress: every day after school, she made dresses for other girls and women of her village, in order to earn some money for her family. When she was older, Mavluda moved to the city to go to college, got married, and once again started sewing women's clothing. In order to provide food for their children, her husband became a butcher.

In addition to sewing, Mavluda cultivates wheat, corn, peas and other crops. She has been in this business for over 20 years. Her husband, son and daughter-in-law help her with farming. Mavluda sells her harvest directly to the local populace at prices that are lower than those at a market. Most people in the region purchase wheat, process it into flour at a mill, then bake their own bread.

Mavluda would like to increase her income in order to pay for her youngest daughter's education. Mavluda herself dreamed of post-secondary studies, but was unable to pursue them due to family circumstances. This is why she now works hard and tries to provide university education for her children.

Mavluda is planning to launch a new livestock business in order to earn additional income. She has taken the course "Succeed", organized by the Association of Business Women, and received her graduation certificate. She is requesting a loan of 15000 somoni to purchase cattle and is counting on your kindness.
