Juliet, who is in her late 30s, is married with two children who are still going to school. She has been running a beauty salon for six years now. She works from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily and is able to make a good monthly profit.
This will be her sixth loan from Tujijenge Tanzania. She used the previous loans to pay school fees, to repair her house by painting and installing door locks, to cover household expenses and to buy salon equipment. She has paid back all her loans successfully. She now hopes for a loan to open another salon in a different area. Her dream is to one day be able to build business premises.
Juliet will share this loan with her loan group "Jaguar," which has 10 members who will hold each other accountable for paying back the loan.
In this group: Julieth, Judith, Pasikwita, Prisca, Ruth, Janeth, Aishi, Shani, Hamadi, Samweli
