Her daily income is approximately 18,000 KHR per day, and she manages to save about 10,000 KHR each day after offsetting daily expenses. The main challenge for her paddy field is drought.
Ros’ group composes of three members who live in the same village. She has been a member of VisionFund for four cycles and had completely repaid back her past loans. She wisely used the previous loans to constantly support her family livelihoods. Now she and one of her group member are requesting a loan of 1,400,000 KHR each, while the other one is requesting a loan of 1,000,000 KHR. As the leader, Ros will use her portion to buy fertilizer for her farmland and use a portion of it to purchase piglets for raising in order to earn additional income. Through this loan, she hopes to get a high yield from her rice paddy so as to better off her living lifestyle.
