A loan helped to buy a new motorcycle.

Mohamed's story

Mohamed is 30 years old and lives in the town of Msambweni, Kenya. He is married and has three children, all of whom are currently in school. For the past eight years, Jackson has been working hard to manage his retail shop, where he sells different types of consumer goods. Due to his visionary nature, he saw the need to diversify his business lines of operation and therefore bought a motorcycle taxi which he operates while his wife spends most of her time running the shop.

To help expand his business, Mohamed has requested a loan of 50,000 Kenyan Shillings from Yehu. The loan will be used to buy a new motorcycle, and will help Mohamed to generate greater profits and help pay school fees for his children. He hopes that in the future he will be able to open up another retail shop.
