A loan helped buy agricultural inputs required by the loss of half his crop to frost.

Rogelio's story

Rogelio is 44 years old and lives in the community of Tako Tako Alto, Mizque Province, in Cochabamba Department. He has 5 dependent children. Rogelio is married to Rogelia, who is 40 years old, and they collaborate in agricultural production and managing the family.

Due to freezes in the zone, Rogelio has lost 50 % of his tomato and potato crop, resulting in a diminution of his expected economic income from selling these products. For this reason, their economic stability has suffered a disequilibrium, directly affecting his ability to purchase supplies and inputs needed for production, as well as in the family food basket required to feed his family.

To correct the above mentioned problems, he is seeking a loan with the object of improving his family's quality of life and retaking the road to prosperity.
