A loan helped to buy and insure a dairy cow.

Jacqwiline's story

Jacqwiline is a resident of Nkubu where she has been practicing farming and majorly dairy farming for twenty-five years. Her other farm produce includes cereals like maize and poultry. She is a divorcee with four adult children and lives with some of her grandchildren, with her sale of produce to the local market meeting her family needs.

She says the loan of 42,000 KES she is requesting from Juhudi Kilimo will help her add another dairy cow to her farm. Her focus is to have a farm of five good breeds of dairy cows in order to raise enough income and educate her grandchildren.

She mentions pests and diseases and high cost of farm labour as the daunting challenges in the farming business. She ranks Juhudi Kilimo as the best micro-finance institution.
