Fabiana is 63 years old, she is married with Rafael and they have six children who are already economically independent. They now live alone in the house she has inherited from her mother.
She says: “In my 30-years’ experience I have succeeded in planting every kind of product”. She owns her lands, and there she plants potatoes, corn, broad beans, barley and wheat with her husband and her children. Age is not an obstacle for her, as she keeps on being young at heart, mostly because she likes working in the fields. She plants in extensive hectares of land, and thanks to this she sells her harvests in the central market of the town of Lima. She is now focused on her corn and peas crops, as she will harvest them in the next few days. Fabiana also owns three bulls she uses to plough her lands.
This is her 6th loan with MFP and in all this time (almost 3 years) she has succeeded in investing in her crops and in improving her production; for this reason she promises to keep on working in the same punctual way. On top of this she likes working in her group.
Fabiana will use the loan she is requesting to buy 40 sacks of potato seeds of the “Amarilis” variety, and 400 sacks of barnyard guano.
