Everylyne's story

Everylyne is a farmer in Kitale. She is 46 years old and married with five children, aged between 10 and 22 years. She has been in farming for eight years. Her current production includes milk, maize, and vegetables, which she sells to the local market.

Everylyne has requested a loan of KES 51,600 from Juhudi Kilimo to buy a dairy cow, for KES 41,600, and build a dairy unit, for KES 10,000. She will use the income to repay the loan and improve the living standards of her children. Her major focus is to acquire more assets for the future.

However, she laments the high costs of animal feed.
