A loan helped a member to buy a cow for dairy business.

Jannat's Group's story

Jannat is 55 years of age. She is still very active and operates a livestock business from her home. She sells cow's milk to her community customers for reasonable rates and earns good income for her family.

Her husband has a business of hosiery. He gets orders from different factories and shops in the market and completes the orders to earn income.

Jannat has given birth to three sons and three daughters. Two of them study while others stay at home. She has applied for a loan from KIVA partner Asasah for further expansion of her family dairy business. With the loan investment, she will buy a dairy cow to get a larger quantity of milk and increase her family income.

The livestock business is her family business and she is very confident that it will improve further after investing the loan.
