A loan helped a member to open another shop for clothes.


Jaguar Group's story

Judith, who is in her late 40s, is married with two children who are in college. She owns two shops, a retail shop and a clothes shop. She has been in this business since 1980. She works from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm daily and is able to make a very good monthly profit.

This will be her 3rd loan from Tujijenge Tanzania. She used the previous loans to increase on the missing items in her shops and has paid back all her loans successfully. She wants a loan to open another clothing shop. Her dream is to one day be able to buy a car.

She will share this loan with her loan group, "Jaguar," which has a total of 15 members who will hold each other accountable for paying back their loans.
