Señora Olga Marina has been making a living by growing foliage and making fabrics for five years. She has two young children. She needs another loan in order to continue harvesting. She wishes to make a few wooden panels where she would harvest the foliage and likewise get a diversity of foliage and some flowers, like birds of paradise. She wants to use part of the loan to buy different sizes and colors of thread for making her güipiles (traditional Guatemalan dresses), and for the embroidery of traditional skirts that have been ordered, and to take advantage of the month of April because people ask for güipiles for Holy Week. She wants to keep growing her business and later be able to buy an industrial sewing machine and be able to make embroidered shirts with the machine and thus continue supporting her husband.
