A loan helped to buy a jig saw for her carpentry shop.

Paulina Julia's story

Paulina is a member of the “Nueva Vida” (New Life) communal bank. She is 66 years old and owns a carpentry shop.

She was a member of Finca Perú seven years ago but had to drop out because she suffered a serious fracture of her ankle and couldn’t work. When her health recovered she rejoined her communal bank and it will be three years since she returned.

She tries to put into practice everything she learns in her communal bank because it helps her make progress. She’s very grateful for the things she was able to learn and for the opportunity they gave her to work in her business. She will use this loan to buy a jig saw for her carpentry shop.
