Julia is a hard-working 47-year-old woman. She lives with Marcelino and their 6 children that they are advancing in the locality of Paltarumi, where they constructed their own little house. From the earliest hours of the morning, Julia heads for her fields. She no longer has the help of her husband who used to assist her constantly. Julia reports that a short time ago, he began to work for a highway construction company where he receives a monthly salary, which helps with household costs.
That's why Julia herself took the reigns of the farm. She takes good care of her plantings of corn, potatoes, and other vegetables. Then there are also 6 cows who always provide many liters of milk, to be sold to cheese makers who visit every afternoon. Now, Julia hopes to be able to increase her herd of cattle, since she receives earning daily from her animals. “Agriculture is seasonal,” she affirms.
Julia belongs to “La Rosa de Paltarumi” solidarity group and this is their 4th loan through MFP. She is very satisfied to be a member, developing her activities normally, with everyone's support.
Julia promises to make all her payments punctually; she always was a hard-working and honorable person. Upon receiving this loan, Julia will purchase natural fertilizers to spread among her potato plantings of the “Yungay” variety.
