A loan helped a member to buy potatoes, spices and cooking oils for food selling business.


Naseem's Group's story

Naseem is 40 years of age. She is very active and performs her household duties very actively.
She also does decorative embroidery and prepares beautiful clothes for her clients. She knows about the latest trends in clothing which helps her in fulfilling her clients' requirements.
Her husband sells local food called samosay. His food is very tasty and he makes reasonable income from his business.
When Naseem is free, she helps her husband in his business by preparing samosay with potatoes.
She has applied for a loan from KIVA partner Asasah for her eldest son who also sells samosay. With the loan investment, he will purchase potatoes, spices and other ingredients used in making better quality samosay.
He has operated his business for many years and Naseem is hopeful about his business success after investing the loan funds.
