Blanca’s a person who despite all the adversities life has presented her has had the strength to continue forward making progress. Blanca’s a head of household, single mother of three children who are 15, 14 and 2 years old because the father of her children died a short while ago and she was left in charge of them. She’s always wanted to provide her children with a good quality of life and greater opportunities for progress so she works hard at her business every day.
At the beginning, Blanca started her clothes making business aiming to help her husband meet household expenses. However, after his death this is the source of income that has allowed her to support her family.
Blanca set up the business about 6 years ago after having worked for a long time for a firm that did this type of work. Thanks to the good quality of her items her business has grown quickly and she now requires employing a person. This is why Blanca is looking for a loan that will make it possible for her to buy an overlock sewing machine and a serger sewing machine and a work table to have the necessary work tools available for the person she’s going to hire for her business.
Blanca hopes that she will be able to improve the quality of life of someone outside her family and that this will be the beginning of great employment generation in her shop. Blanca also hopes that with greater income her children will enjoy a better quality of life and greater opportunities to make progress. Blanca dreams that someday her business will provide her with the opportunity to buy a house of her own, to offer her children a quality education and to produce economic stability that will allow them to progress.
