A loan helped to purchase products for her business.

Lux Estela's story

Sra. Lux is a single mother with two children. For 10 years she has had a grocery store business where she sells all kinds of products such as rice, beans, sugar, eggs, bread, milk, personal use items and school supplies, among others. She makes her purchases in the local market. Her customers are her neighbors and she is open from Monday to Sunday.

Lux is applying for a loan for 18,000 HNL (Honduran Lempira) to invest in the purchase of groceries and soft drinks since her sales improve during this season and she earns more income.

Her dream is that her daughter will continue studying and then go to work so she will be able to contribute to household expenses.
