A loan helped to pay for a new order of fabrics for resale.

Noungou's story

Noungou is a 54-year-old woman who lives in one of the local communities of Senegal. She is actively involved in retail and sells fabrics. She chose this activity out of necessity, in order to increase her personal income. She has been a member of one of the local UIMCEC branches since 2009 and has already repaid three previous loans.

She is requesting a loan in the amount of 300,000 francs. She will use this loan to pay for a new order of fabrics which should meet her customers' needs. With this loan she will be able to increase her profits, help her husband provide for the family, and therefore improve her family's standard of living.
