A loan helped to buy more wax cotton, lace, clothes, shoes and creams.

Yeabu's story

Meet 43-year-old Yeabu from Waterloo, in the eastern area in Freetown, Sierra Leone. She is married with four children between the ages of 15 years and 25 years. Three of her children are currently attending school.

In 1997, Yeabu established her clothing business. She began her business because it is profitable and it cannot be affected by the rainy season. She works at the business 7 days per week, and 8 hours a day .She says that the main challenge to her business is the time moving from one neighboring country to another especially when the road is bad.

Yeabu requires a loan in order to buy more wax cotton, lace, clothes, shoes and creams. She hopes that the extra income from this loan will allow her to increase her savings and also educate her children. In the future, Yeabu plans to build more stores. She thanks you for your support.
